Wednesday 22nd September 2021 LO: To analyse texts using the correct  terminology. Subject position: Our subject position is everything that goes to make up what we are and where we fit in the world.  My subject position is a male, 13 year old, white,straight, not rich, and a  student who lives in cornwall.    This magazine cover could appeal to people who like cooking and people who like eating. DENOTATION The dictionary definition. CONNOTATION The deeper meaning what we associate with the word or image. 1) Denote-gun. C onnote-death,destruction and violence. 2)Denote-clown.Connote-stupid,scary and funny. 3)Denote-Battle scene. Connote- Anger,fighting and strength. This film cover is Naruto Shippuden the blood prison. His facial expression shows he is  angry.The red background could tell us something bad is about to happen.
